So…once again, I may or may not have dropped off the face off the planet because of school and extracurriculars. Being a high school student, especially one in their last year before graduation, can be quite stressful and bring out the procrastinator in us. I am an expert at procrastinating, I’ve studied and mastered this art over the years of my student career and have learned that this may not be the most useful skill, BUT, I have also learned that taking 30 minute breaks every so often can reduce the amount of time I spend watching The Office instead of working on my biology homework. Presented, are 5 different ways to unwind (tested and approved by yours truly) .
I’ve recently read an article about a man who frequently visits a coffee shop and his relationship with the baristas. Being a barista myself, I wanted to counteract his post and tell you all about what it’s like being on the other side of that counter.
Yes, I know, another post about La La Land, but who can blame me? After such a horrific 2016, this movie was a breath of fresh air. Everything about this movie was so lovable, from the intended clichés to the phenomenal soundtrack. This movie has definitely stole my heart and won a spot on my favourites list, right next to Singin’ In The Rain, and here’s why…
No I have not dropped off the face of the planet, although exam week made me wish I did. I haven’t posted a single article since New Years for the reason that I am a highschool student who has been plagued with a math exam. Somehow, I survived and am ready to come back full speed with new posts every Saturday and Wednesday!
To celebrate this wonderful news, I’m sharing a rant on speeches that I wrote for my grade 9 English class .Enjoy!
A little sad (and offended) to announce that I was NOT invited to sing with Troy Bolton in a ski lounge tonight, but that’s alright because 2016 is coming to an end.
I think we can all agree that this year has been one hell of a ride and I am more than excited to see what 2017 holds, before the clock strikes 12, let’s spend a minute or two reflecting on this insane year…
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak has been a favourite of mine for the longest time, I read it some years ago and fell in love with it right away. This book will rip your heart out…but in the best way possible! Keep Reading!
Yes, I did just use a High School Musical song to catch your attention, did it work?
